Today we started off at a bright and early 6:30am wake up for a 7am workshop. We talked about feelings and thoughts and all that good stuff teenagers like to open up about. After breakfast we headed across the country to prison. Yep. Prison. Natan made sure to give an extremely accurate and slightly Australian rendition of what it may have been like for us to be prisoners under a guard’s watch. After we were all educated, sweaty, and re-hydrated, we watched a movie on the famous prison break that had happened there, and then walked through the actual crime scene. When they decided to release us from prison we got to go eat the best pizza in all of Israel. There were lots of toppings so even the pickey eaters enjoyed. We also bumped into some people who had dogs that everyone had a good time playing with. After loading us with food, the only possible way to help us digest was by going to the beach and riding on jet boats. We do have fun here in Israel. The boats were my favorite part of the day and I’m sure lots of the others too. We learned that if you thank the driver of the boat enough times he does some extra donuts. When that was finished we got back on the bus and drove to Rosh HaNikra. We took a gondola down to where all the good views were and got to ride in golf carts along the beach. After, we walked through the caves and saw the water holes.
We all had a good time and hope to have many more.
