We started the day by leaving the hostel and going on a bus ride to the Dead Sea which was so insane I loved it so much. We just floated on water and my skin never felt softer. Amazing. We went from there to Masada and we learned some of the history of the mountain and Herod who built his palace up there more than 2000 years ago. We went to the top of the mountain in 100 degree weather this was the hottest part of the trip. After we left exploring and learning about the mountain and the stories that happened there, we left for the Bedouin tents in arad. There we went camelback riding, met up with friends from other buses, wrote like scribes, and had a spiritual experience stargazing in the desert. All in all an amazing day!
